Bigg Boss 13 fame Vishal Aditya Singh opens up about his current equation with Asim Riaz, while Asim’s recent X post has added a new twist to their relationship.
The equation between Vishal Aditya Singh and Asim Riaz has once again become a talking point among Bigg Boss fans. The two actors were seen together in Bigg Boss 13, where they appeared to share a good bond. However, years after the show, Vishal has now opened up about where his friendship with Asim stands today.
In an exclusive conversation with Film Window, Vishal Aditya Singh was asked by Heena Kumawat whether Asim Riaz is still his friend.
Vishal immediately replied, “No, we are not friends.”

Explaining his equation with Asim, Vishal said that he initially believed the two had developed a genuine friendship inside the Bigg Boss 13 house.
“Mujhe laga tha ki hamari dosti hai Bigg Boss ke ghar mein, lekin nahi. Mil jaate hain na ghar mein 2-4 log, toh lagta hai ki dosti hai,” Vishal said.
He further explained that both of them may have felt that they had become friends during the reality show, but the feeling did not remain the same after they came out of the house.
Interestingly, Vishal said that he was not particularly hurt when their communication gradually stopped.
“Mujhe baad mein itna dukh nahi hua baat-cheet nahi hui toh. Mujhe zyada dukh hai Sidharth ka,” he said, referring to his bond with late actor Sidharth Shukla.
Talking about what happened after Bigg Boss 13, Vishal added, “Mujhe laga tha ki Bigg Boss se nikalna, bonding thi, mera dost hai. Lekin bahar aakar feel mehsoos nahi hua. Dheere-dheere feel khatam ho gayi.”
Vishal also made it clear that he does not consider Asim his enemy.
“Main Instagram par message karu toh reply kar sakta hai. Hum dushman ki list mein bhi nahi aaye hain, lekin dost ki list mein nahi hain,” he said.
Asim Riaz’s recent tweet changes the tone
While Vishal describes his equation with Asim as neither friendship nor enmity, Asim Riaz’s recent post on X has presented a very different tone.
Reacting to Vishal’s comments about the ongoing controversy involving Asim and Himanshi Khurana, Asim took a personal dig at Vishal and referred to the infamous Bigg Boss 13 frying-pan incident involving Vishal and Madhurima Tuli.
Asim wrote:
“Vishal, getting beaten with a pan on national TV by your ex GF left some permanent damage. Stop chanting my name everywhere. If you need my attention, DM me instead of being a ScumBAG on podcasts and in the media. Don’t worry, I’ll try my best to find a psychiatrist for you.”
The post has certainly added another layer to the Vishal Aditya Singh and Asim Riaz controversy. While Vishal says there is no friendship between them and that he does not consider Asim an enemy either, Asim’s strongly worded response suggests that the equation may be more complicated than Vishal’s neutral description indicates.

In the same conversation, Vishal shared his candid opinion on the ongoing Asim Riaz-Himanshi Khurana controversy and the claims surrounding their past relationship. His comments on the matter appear to have been one of the reasons behind Asim’s reaction.
The former Bigg Boss 13 contestants, who once appeared to share a friendly equation inside the house, now seem to have very different views of their relationship outside the show.
For now, Vishal has clearly stated where he stands: Asim is neither his friend nor his enemy. But with Asim directly responding to Vishal on social media, the question remains — is this really just a distant equation, or is there still some unfinished tension between the two?
