In an open and honest chat with FilmyGyan, actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, loved by millions as Roshan Singh Sodhi from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, spoke like never before. The popular comedy show is known for its clean family entertainment, but Jennifer’s shocking revelations show a very different side of it.
Jennifer recalled a heated argument she says happened in Hong Kong between actor Dilip Joshi who plays Jethalal on the show and producer Asit Modi. She claimed the situation got so bad that “Dilip-ji held Asit-ji by the collar.” According to her, it happened in front of many people and was completely out of control. Both Dilip and Asit have earlier called such stories “false,” but Jennifer’s version has once again started a storm of gossip.
Jennifer revealed she faced years of harassment from Asit Modi, starting in 2018. She alleged he made indecent comments and unwanted advances. Suddenly the image needs fixing.” She said Disha did not go to Asit’s house, instead, Asit and his wife went to hers. Jennifer added that Disha seemed “visibly uncomfortable” with no real smile, just a forced expression for the camera.
