Punjabi cinema’s much-loved franchise Godday Godday Chaa is all set to return with its sequel, and this time, it’s bringing in superstar Ammy Virk. The celebrated singer-actor has officially joined the cast of Godday Godday Chaa 2, the follow-up to the hit film that clinched the 71st National Film Award for Best Punjabi Feature Film.
Helmed once again by Vijay Kumar Arora and penned by Jagdeep Sidhu, the original film had audiences across the globe hooked with its blend of humor, heart, and progressive storytelling. Its success wasn’t limited to theatres alone, it also became a favorite on OTT platforms, striking a chord with families for its relatable narrative and social relevance.
