Producer Luv Israni, known for his work on KINK 2, recently opened up about his perspective on happiness, emphasizing the importance of living in the moment and appreciating life’s simple pleasures.
Reflecting on his journey, Luv admitted, “I have always been a workaholic. I love to hustle, push boundaries, and try new things because that process gives me a high. It’s what drives me and keeps me motivated to achieve more.” However, a conversation with a friend a few years ago made him reevaluate his understanding of happiness. “I remember asking a friend what her goal was for the upcoming year, expecting her to mention something about career growth or personal milestones. But her response surprised me. She said her goal was to be happy. That statement hit me hard because it made me realize that we often get so caught up in chasing success, recognition, and material achievements that we forget the most important thing — being truly happy.” This moment of revelation left a profound impact on him. “Since that day, after the conversation with my friend, I decided to make a conscious effort to live in the moment and be happy in the present, regardless of what the future holds. I realized that happiness is not something you find at the end of a journey; it’s something you cultivate along the way.”
Luv further explained what truly brings him joy. “What makes me happy is living a balanced life. It’s about looking after my family, spending quality time with them, and seeing them healthy and content. It’s also about doing great projects, putting my creative energy into something meaningful, and feeling satisfied with the work I produce.” He also spoke about the rewarding experience of working on KINK 2. “KINK 2 is getting amazing responses, and the journey of overcoming the challenges of shooting in Vietnam was true happiness for me. It was a tough but fulfilling experience that reminded me once again that joy often lies in the process, not just the result.”
