Actor Sai Ballal, who plays the role of Chandrakant Mittal in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah (Studio LSD)’s show Suman Indori, says that he loves being part of the project. He adds that his character has evolved a great deal in the last few months.

“It’s been almost 6 months that I have been shooting for Suman Indori…and yes; the whole unit has been sort of a family for all of us. My character has depicted all shades of emotions till now…be it a strict and disciplinarian father, be it a doting father-in-law (towards his elder daughter-in-law) or a thick-skinned emotionless husband,” he says.

The show is also set for a time leap soon. “Nothing has been narrated about my character as of now…but yes it seems Chandrakant Mittal will be there after the leap too. We are highly obliged and thankful towards the audience for being with ‘Suman Indori’ all the way,” he says.

As him how he manages to retain his true nature while also portraying a character, and he says, “As it is; out of 24 hours in a day; for 12 hours we actors are totally into the fictitious characters that we are playing. So, off camera we ought to be real. I diligently try to maintain that.”
