Turkey and Syria are witnessing the worst disaster in recent times. Turkey was hit by three consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 7.8, 7.6, and 6.0 on Monday, and another earthquake of magnitude 5.9 was reported in central Turkey on Tuesday. The earthquake is the largest ever to hit Turkey in at least 100 years, the news agency AFP reported. So far, 4372 deaths have been confirmed due to the earthquake in Turkey-Syria. Turkey’s toll has risen to 2,921 as of Tuesday morning. A total of 15,834 injuries have been reported. In Syria, 1,451 deaths and 3,531 injuries have been reported by the govt officials.
