Kalki 2898 AD is undoubtedly among one of the most awaited Indian films of the year. The film has a dream star cast which includes Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
The makers of Kalki 2898 AD have recently released a prelude animation series to the film. The series has 2 episodes which introduces us to the main character of Bhairava played by Prabhas and all makes us familiar with the world of Kalki.
The prelude showcases the bonding between Bhairava who is a bounty hunter and Bujji who is an AI pilot of a cargo ship. Bhairava teams up with Bujji and they both ride along in a vehicle and go on a hunt. Bhairava and Bujji both want to enter a fictional building named Complex, and they face a lot of obstacles in this crazy adventurous ride.
The prelude sets the tone right for the film. This is indeed a masterstroke by makers as they have teased the viewers and have left them wanting for more. Both excitement and expectations are sky high from Kalki 2898 AD.
The futuristic world created by makers is fabulous and eye pleasing. The action sequences in the animated series are worth all the praise. The series also has humorous dialogues which will keep you entertained. It’s a fast paced 2 episode series, and one won’t even realize how those 30 minutes (duration of the series) come to an end.
The series introduces us to the character of Bhairava. He is smart, intellectual, witty, brave, fierce, adventurous, intelligent, all in one. Bhairava is always ready to take up different challenges and he has got a great partner in the form of Bujji.
The series is directed by Nag Ashwin, who has already impressed audiences with his National Award winning Biopic film Mahanati which was based on actress Savitri. Nag Ashwin is a promising and talented director and we are sure that he has created a magical film in the form of Kalki 2898 AD. His vision looks uncompromised and the scale is epic. Even in the animated series, he has tried to keep things large and spectacular.
The prelude series is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies along with Green Gold Animation who have made the childhood awesome of many kids by giving them their favorite superhero in the form of Chhota Bheem.
The 2 episode prelude series is now available on Prime Video in Telugu, Hindi and English. The series is directed by Nag Ashwin. The 2 episode series includes the voices of amazing artists like Prabhas (Bhairava), Keerthy Suresh (Bujji), Brahmanandam, Pasupathy and Anna Ben.
