Rajkumar Hirani is India’s greatest director in recent times. He made his debut with Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. in 2003. Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. was a Masterpiece and is the best film of Sanjay Dutt till date.
The success of Munna Bhai inspired makers to make a sequel in 2006. Lage Raho Munna Bhai also turned out to be a Classic and emerged as a huge Blockbuster.
At the time of its release, Munna Bhai series was the only series whose both the parts were regarded as Classic.
The makers had also announced the third part in the Munna Bhai series which was titled as ‘Munna Bhai Chale Amerika’. The makers also released a hilarious teaser featuring the iconic duo ‘Munna’ and ‘Circuit’. In the teaser it was showcased that both of them are trying to learn English as they wish to go to America.

But the mmakers had to shelve the project, as it had a slight similarity to Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan which was released during the same time.
The whole world wants to know when Munna Bhai 3 will be made and finally in an interaction with ANI, Rajkumar Hirani gives a huge update about Munna Bhai 3. He said, “The struggle of mine with Munna Bhai has always been that, both the Munna Bhai films were made so good, I have 5 half-written scripts of Munna Bhai 3 with me, but I don’t think I can make it unless I match the level of first two films. I think I have one story which can be told, but there are some stories which become dated according to the time. Whenever I have a word with Sanju, he tells me that we should make Munna Bhai 3 and I have one story with me. Now that Dunki is finished, I will revisit the old stories which I have with me and will see to it what I can make. I want to make another Munna Bhai film and it’s there in my wishlist but I don’t know when it will happen.”
